Everyday Scents & Self-Expression
This is my most personal pillar. It holds the deepest memories. Here, I explore my love for and the emotional and nostalgic power of fragrance — how scent helps us tell stories, hold on to moments, and express who we are.
Pillar VII: Everyday Scents & Self-Expression
In case you didn’t already know this — fragrance (well, fragrance and skincare) are my love languages. I am a self proclaimed scent enthusiast.
Fragrance is one of the only ways we express identity that’s invisible to the eye — and that makes it quietly powerful.

In this pillar I explore the emotional layers of fragrance — the ones that linger long after the top notes fade.

Fragrances takes me back:
To my mom’s perfume.
To my first love.
To versions of myself I didn’t even know I missed — or had long forgotten.

I don’t wear fragrance to be trendy (and yes, scent is definitely having a moment). To me, perfume is sooo much more than just smelling good, it's about how scent makes us feel — and how it helps us remember.
Scent is tied to memory, identity, grief, sensuality —things we don’t always name out loud. It’s personal. Emotional. And deeply human.

Fragrance is about connection. Expressing who I am that day. Maybe a little about smelling fabulous. And yes — I wear fragrance to bed. That’s how committed I am.
If you’re a scent lover, a memory chaser, curious how perfume ties to healing, or you're a longtime perfume lover, or perhaps just curious what your signature scent might say about you — you’re in the right place.

Trace Notes:
Fragrance isn’t just top, heart, and base notes — it’s memory, identity, and emotion.
Trace Notes is where scent meets story — a space to remember, reflect, and relive through the power of fragrance.
This is scent storytelling.
This is Sooo Human
