What is Sooo Human?

Sooo Human is a storytelling space shaped by lived experience — where daily practices and moments of care meet real life.
Here, I share what it really feels like to live well, look well, and feel well in the middle of it all: skincare and wellness, recovery and growth, grief and midlife, humor and the human mess.
Because healing isn’t linear, beauty isn’t perfection, and being human will always be a mix of glow, grief, meaning, and mess — held with humor and heart.
Still wondering about Sooo Human?
Sooo Human isn’t a store, a service, or a product. It’s a storytelling space shaped by lived experience — a home for the real, the raw, and the everyday moments that make us human.

Here you’ll find stories and reflections shared through blogs, vlogs, posts, and reviews — from skincare and wellness, to grief and recovery, to motherhood, and midlife, and everything in between. Some days it’s a rant, some days it’s a ritual, (or a serum), but always told through the lens of real life.

1. What is Sooo Human?
Sooo Human is a storytelling space shaped by lived experience. It’s where daily practices and moments of care meet real life — where the glow, the grief, the growth, and the mess in between are held with humor and heart.

2. Are you a professional or expert?
I’m not a medical or skincare professional. By trade, I’m a social worker with 20+ years in therapeutic services, focused on the intersection of mental, emotional, physical, and behavioral health.

By nature, I’m a storyteller. I speak from lived experience — through addiction, grief, chronic illness, disordered eating, recovery, and midlife becoming. I share what’s helped me (and what hasn’t), in real time.
3. Do you get paid to talk about products?
Sometimes. And when I do, you’ll know. I only work with brands I genuinely use and believe can support others. This isn’t a space for pushing products — it’s a space for honest connection.
4. Wait... Is this your job?
Yes. I create content and partner with brands that align with my message. That means I write, film, test, share, and connect — through blogs, videos, partnerships, reviews, and storytelling. And while it’s my work, it’s also deeply fulfilling.
5. What kind of content do you make?
Blogs, videos, product reviews, wellness practices, real-life reflections — and the occasional PSA or fragrance love note.
