A creamy iris chai for the season—and for the soul.
Sometimes fragrance pairings feel accidental. Others feel intuitive. And then there are the rare combinations that feel… meant to be. I don’t know why I reached for these two particular fragrances, but I’m glad it did.
That’s what happened when I started layering Jovoy Remember Me with Houbigant Iris des Champs. On their own, they’re beautiful. Together, they’re something deeper—almost like the name and the note found each other first, and then found me.

Jovoy Remember Me
A gourmand delight, but make it grown.
Cardamom, ginger, milk, vanilla, tea… it’s warm, slightly spicy and feels like easing into winter wrapped in a soft blanket.

Houbigant Iris des Champs
The lighter, top spray.
Bergamot, pink pepper, pear, then that soft, elegant heart of iris, jasmine, rose…
all resting on a woody vanilla base that’s somehow both refined and grounding.
They share that familiar vanilla base, so they hold hands easily on skin.
But the real magic is in their contrast:
• spicy ginger + cardamom from Remember Me
• fresh iris + white florals from Iris des Champs

Together, they somehow turn into this creamy, spicy, floral haze — basically an iris chai latte. Warm, comforting, a little sweet, a little powdery, a little woody. It’s perfect for this time of year. And frankly not surprising, as a venti chai latte — extra hot —
is my signature drink.
The unexpected emotional layer, that's the part that got me.
Remember Me.
Iris.
Three words that mean more than I wish they did right now. One carrying the emotion of my losses; the other tied to my stepdad’s favorite flower.
So leave it to me to accidentally layer my feelings onto my fragrances —
but somehow it felt right. It felt intentional even though it wasn’t.
Maybe that’s how scent works?
It meets us exactly where we are.
It says the thing we can’t quite articulate.
