November 2025 was… brutal. I buried another parent. The weather turned colder. The days got noticeably shorter. And the dark — both inside and outside — felt heavier than it has in a long time.

And yet, even in a month that heavy, tiny joys still found me. A comforting shower.

A scent that softened the edges. A moment in the mirror where I caught my own reflection and thought, okay… my lips look fire today.

So here they are:

Nine products I genuinely fell in love with, in a month that almost swallowed me whole.

Scents & Skin

Winter destroys my hands — dry, cracked, aging faster than the rest of me — and this balm is bringing them back. It melts into a soft oil instantly. The Manuka honey, Sea Buckthorn, Marula, Sweet Almond, Coconut oil, and beeswax work together to soothe and deeply restore.

Maybe my favorite product of the month. Inspired by Xerjoff’s Dama Bianca, it’s the most beautiful powdery vanilla with touches of citrus, iris, jasmine, and ambrette. Her longevity? Insane. It moisturizes, it glows, and it layers with perfume like she was born to capture anything you spray over her.

Lavanilla The Healthy Fragrance Pure Vanilla – This might be the most perfect affordable vanilla fragrance. Pure Madagascar vanilla, creamy tonka, soft heliotrope — warm, powdery, cozy, and shockingly long-lasting.

And then there’s the brand’s commitment to cleaner formulations. They skip the petrochemicals, dyes, silicones, sulfates, parabens, aluminum — all of it. Instead, they use antioxidants, vitamins, and natural oils that feel good on you and for you.

A feel-good vanilla in every sense.

Shower & Hair

A weekly scalp detox that feels like a salon visit without leaving your shower. The sea salt crystals exfoliate gently, the lather is rich and dreamy, and the scent is so luxurious it feels like someone should be handing you a bon-bon mid-rinse.

My newest hair obsession. You build your own formula online — your hair goals, your texture, your environment — and they create a fully customized set. It feels personalized, effective, and indulgent in the best way. And my hair is loving it.

Body Restore Relief with Eucalyptus & Mint – Don’t let the packaging fool you — they don’t explode into clouds of steam. It’s more of a slow, steady aromatherapeutic release. Eucalyptus and mint open your sinuses, lift your senses, and transform even a quick shower into a tiny reset. Can’t wait to try the lavender next.

Lips

I didn’t want to love these. I’m a minimalist. I don’t “do” lip combos.

But these?

These are different. The pencil is creamy and smooth with perfect bendability.

The ampoule is hydrating, pigmented, and smells delicious. Together… your lips genuinely look incredible without trying too hard

So yes…

Even in grief, small moments of pleasure found me in November. And I’m grateful for them. Grateful for anything that reminded me I’m still here, still feeling, still human.

What about you?
